Tales of the Cocktail announced its 2022 Spirited Award winners, and a New Orleans bar is on the list
After two years of taking place in a mostly digital format, spirits conference Tales of the Cocktail closed out its 2022 event this week by crowning the best bars and bartenders in the world — in person — at New Orleans’s Ritz Carlton Hotel. Two of the organization’s biggest awards, U.S. Restaurant Bar of the Year and U.S. Bartender of the Year, went to French Quarter cocktail bar Jewel of the South and the bar’s co-founder Chris Hannah, respectively.
